The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has deployed 2,500 personnel and 50 operational vehicles, including seven heavy-duty tow trucks and six ambulances, to ensure effective traffic management and emergency response during the Osun State Governorship Election scheduled for Saturday, August 15th, 2026.

In a press statement signed by the Corps Public Education Officer, Deputy Corps Commander Osondu Ohaeri, on Friday, the FRSC said the deployment would cover the three senatorial districts and all operational areas of the state to ensure seamless traffic flow, prompt emergency response and compliance with the restriction of movement during the election.

FRSC Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, said the deployment underscores the Corps’ commitment to supporting a peaceful, safe and credible election within its statutory responsibility of road safety and traffic management.
