Governor Okpebholo Creates New Ministry, Redeploys Commissioner
Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has increased the number of Ministries in the State to 29, with the creation of the Ministry of Inter-Ethnic Relations.
According to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Musa Ikhilor, the ministry is established to promote inter-ethnic and inter-community harmony, strengthen peaceful coexistence, and harness the rich and ever-evolving diversity of Edo citizens as an asset for the development and unity of the state.
Mr Ikhilor said governor Okpebholo also approved the deployment of newly sworn-in commissioners with a view to strengthening governance, enhancing efficiency and improving service delivery across the state.
