The Federal Government has approved the promotion of 30 Controllers of Corrections to the rank of Assistant Controllers General (ACG) in the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS).
The exercise was conducted by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) under the Ministry of Interior.
According to the NCoS spokesperson Umar Abubakar, the move is part of the government’s commitment to merit-based advancement and professional excellence.
Additionally, three professional officers were specially elevated for their contributions in Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing, and Public Health.
